About

"My current work is inspired by the Southwest landscape, it's plants and wildlife; exploring pattern, shape and colour observed in my immediate natural world, often gathering inspiration from my garden and the hedgerow. I work with mixed media; layering ink, paint, monoprint, drypoint and collage to make semi abstracted pieces, sometimes more illustrative and decorative - I enjoy colour! My practice has developed alongside a career in Art and Design education, which I enjoy and have continued learning through showing others how to make art"
